The obverse of the token reads, “Capitol Steam Brewery By WM. Voigt Manfr. Of Ale & Lager Beer Madison Wis” and the reverse of the token reads “Union 1863.”The obverse shows several lines of text with small decorative elements. The reverse depicts an eagle in the center with one star on each side and text above and below.
