These medals were struck for the National Fair Association in 1881 and 1882. The obverse displays a woman standing to the right and holding corn in her left hand and a scythe in her right. The legend around her reads, “THEN SHALL THE EARTH YIELD HER INCREASE; AND GOD, EVEN OUR GOD, SHALL BLESS US.’ BARBER.” The reverse displays a wreath surrounding the legend which reads, “AWARDED TO -; BY THE NATIONAL FAIR ASSOCIATION WASHINGTON D.C..”
