The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads To commemorate the Battle of Trenton, NJ December 26 1776, Bechtel Trenton and the reverse text is Trenton battle Monument corner stone laid Dec. 26 1892 Dedicated Oct 19 1893. The front side of the coin shows a regal bust of George Washington facing the left with text directly under his neck, descriptive text surrounding and following the edge of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts a tall monument in the center with a statue at the top and descriptive text surrounding, a majority of the field of the coin is blank.
