The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Housatonic River 1663 Boothe Homestead 1945 Stratford, Connecticut and the reverse text is The Boothe Coat of Arms, Quod Ero Spero, This Boothe Coat of Arm is one of the oldest crests in England, David B. Boothe & Stephen N. Boothe, Life Owners, Putney Gardens, Stratford, Conn. The front side of the coin shows a log cabin in the center of the coin with trees and a river flowing in front of the house, a canoe sits on the bank of the river with text surrounding to the outside edge of the medal. The backside of the coin depicts a shield in the center with three small objects positioned in the shape of a triangle with circular text surrounding to the outside of the coin in three lines, beaded borders in two different spots.
