The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads 1895 1865, Childs Resurgens Atlanta, Ga. Cotton States and International Exposition Sept 18th to Dec. 31st and the reverse text is Administration Building Cotton States and International Exposition. The front side of the coin shows text surrounding the phoenix in the center of the dollar with the date overlaid and a rope and beaded border. The backside of the coin depicts a building in the lower center with a flag on top and text surrounding above.
