This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-212.
The obverse text reads “Patterson Brothers Buffalo” and the reverse text reads “Wholesale in Hardware Dealers.” The obverse of the token has an anvil surrounded by text, and the reverse shows a heart shaped padlock that is closed.
