The reverse text is California Midwinter Internat. Exposition S. Francisco 1894 Administration Building. The front side of the coin shows an armored figure with a Roman helmet on, facing the left with a bear laying at her feet and the sun rising in the background, stars appear above her head. The backside of the coin depicts a skinny tall building with flags flying above and a statue on the highest point, arching text in two lines above and two lines of text falling below.
