The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads W.M. 1892 Liberty and the reverse text is 1492 Dedicated to the American people in honor of the 400th Anniversary of the Discovery of America, United we stand divided we fall. The front side of the coin shows a low relief version of the Morgan Bust facing the left with text surrounding. The backside of the coin depicts a low relief version of the landing of Columbus in the New World, holding a flag and a sword in the center, Native Americans in the background hiding, and surrounded by descriptive text.
