The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads A little group of willful men have rendered the Government of the United States helpless and Contemptible (March 1917) President Wilson and the reverse text is Voted against the war declaration, Senators La Follette, Noris, Lane, Stone, Vardaman. Congressmen Browne, Gary, Cooper, Esch, Frear, Nelson, Stafford, Davidson, Voight All of Wisconsin Kitchen and 40 Others April 6, 1917. The front side of the coin shows 9 lines of text held within a beaded border, the top and bottom lines are curved and a date is in the center. The backside of the coin depicts wavy lines of text in the top center of the coin with lines surrounding, curved and straight text above and below and held within a beaded border.
