This Token Came From – Deadwood, Dakota Territory

The obverse text on the token reads “Dakota Commandery No. 1 Deadwood. Dak. Vincit Omnia Veritas Constituted Aug. 19. 1880.” The reverse text on this token reads “Made of Black Hills Tin Homestake.” The obverse depicts a crown and cross in the center with text and stars surrounding. The reverse of the token shows an illustration of a village in the center with text above.
