This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-250

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads California Midwinter International Exposition San Francisco 1894 and the reverse text is Golden Gate San Francisco, Cal. The front side of the coin shows an aerial view of the California Midwinter Expo with all of the buildings visible and text surrounding, two small stars near the bottom of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts a pay in the center with the sun rising over the water in the distance, a ship sailing on the sea and cliffs to either side, text arching above and below the scene.
