This Token Came From – Fort Thompson, Dakota Territory

The obverse text on the token reads “Payable In Goods 25 F.J.D. & Co Fort Thompson, D.T.” The obverse depicts small decorative and flowing lines with text scattered throughout. The reverse of the token shows a small eagle with a shield looking towards the left and surrounded by stars.
