The obverse of the token reads, “The Flag of Our Union, 1863” and the reverse of the token reads “The Union Must And Shall Be Preserved, Jackson.” The obverse of the coin shows a flag facing towards the right side of the token and surrounded by text. The reverse of the token displays several lines of text with small ornamental flowers throughout.
