This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-279a

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads General U.S. Grant R. Sneider, F. New York and the reverse text is Let us have peace Dedication of Gen. U.S. Grant Monument New York April 27th 1897. The front side of the coin shows a bust of Ulysses Grant facing the left with his name written to either side and a branch below his neck, the bust is dressed in traditional military clothing. The backside of the coin depicts a plaque in the center with branches above and below and text surrounding, text appears on the plaque as well.
