The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Hendrik Hudson 1609 and the reverse text is Nieuw Amsterdam MCMIX H I Daalder. The front side of the coin shows the bust of a traditional looking man facing the right with crescent moons to the left and right, and the date below. The backside of the coin depicts a boat in the center with a crescent moon on its sail and water below, text arching above and the date at the bottom of the coin.
