The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Proclaim Liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof, Liberty Bell, Lev. XXV VX. Pass and Stow Philada MDCCLIII and the reverse text is By joint resolution of the Councils of the City of Philadelphia, The Liberty Bell loaned to the World’s Industrial and Cotton Centennial Exposition of New Orleans, LA. 1885. The front side of the coin shows a Liberty Bell in the center with the famous crack shown, text surrounding and three lines of text overlaid on the bell itself. The backside of the coin depicts lines of text in the center with circular and curved text at the bottom edge and top edge.
