The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads We Though of a better way, Lord Kelvin, Kelvinator, Silver Anniversary and the reverse text is The Oldest Manufacturer of Electric Refrigeration for the Home 1914-1939 Kelvinator, Silver Anniversary. The front side of the coin shows the bust of a bearded man in the center with a star to either side and text surrounding, three lines of text below his neck and a thin border to the outside of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts a large border to the outside edge of the coin, a wreath in the center with a star at the top of it, text within the wreath.
