This Token Came From – Fort Sanders, Dakota Territory

The obverse text on the token reads “1866.” The reverse text on this token reads “Lowry, Beall & Co. Traders. U.S.A. Good For 50 Cts In Traders Goods.” The obverse depicts a Liberty Bust in the center surrounded by 13 stars with the date below. The reverse of the token shows five small stars, four dots, and various text surrounding.
