The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Cyrus Hall McCormick 1809 1884 Inventor of the Reaper and the reverse text is International Harvester Company Centennial of the Reaper 1831 1931. The front side of the coin shows a portrait of Cyrus McCormick in the center with text and dates to either side of his bust. The backside of the coin depicts a reaper in the center used for harvesting wheat, with text above and below and a horse to the right side with a rider on its back.
