This Token Came From – J. Hall, Walker & Walton Hardware Store

This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-121.

The obverse text reads “J. Hall Walker & Walton, 1834, Importers of And Dealers In Hardware and Ship Chanlery, No. 17 New Levee, New Orleans” and the reverse text reads “Fine Cutlery, Guns, Pistols, Iron, Nails & Castings, Burr Blocks, Mill Stones & C.” The obverse and reverse of the token are all text that is positioned horizontally with some text around in a circular fashion.
