The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads July 4th, 1893, William Lloyd Garrison, Newburyport Mass. The front side of the coin shows a statue with a man standing on top, the man has his right hand slightly forward from his side, the date is split to either side of the coin, circular oriented text surrounds the coin. The backside of the coin depicts a blank design with a beaded border surrounding.
