The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads George Washington, Murdock Born Feb. 22 1732 Died Dec. 14 1799 and the reverse text is Centennial Exposition 1788 1888 of the Ohio Valley & Central States at Cincinnati, Jas. Murdock Jr die sinker Cincinnati. The front side of the coin shows a bust of General George Washington facing the right with text surrounding him on all sides in a circular pattern. The backside of the coin depicts a building in the center with text arching above and text in horizontal lines below.
