The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads State of Oregon, The Union 1859 and the reverse text is Panama Pacific International Exposition Oregon State Building San Francisco, 1915. The front side of the coin shows a large building in the center that has been identified as the Oregon Building, surrounded by an outside line of text and two lines of horizontal text underneath. The backside of the coin depicts a shield in the center with an eagle on top, circles surrounding and text to the outside border of the medal.
