The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Pilgrim Jubilee Memorial 1620, 1870 and the reverse text is Whose Faith Follow, Holy Bible. The front side of the coin shows the Pilgrim’s memorial that they made upon land-fall. The standing man in the center is surrounded by several kneeling men and women. Two men are bringing boxes out of a boat to the right. The medal shows fur trees in the background, text above, and dates below. The backside of the coin depicts the Bible in the center surrounded by two braches attached with a ribbon. There is an eagle with spread wings over the Bible, suggesting the Pilgrims have sought freedom for their faiths. Text appears above the eagle and wreath..
