This Token Came From – E.F. Sise & Co. Commission Merchant Store

This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-195.

The obverse text reads “E.F. Sise & Co General Commission, and Forwarding Merchants. Portsmouth N.H” and the reverse text reads “Importers of Crockery and Glass Ware Dealers In Coal 1837.” The obverse of the token has text and two flowers that are positioned at the bottom, and the reverse is also filled with text and twelve total flowers positioned throughout the token.
