The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads State Capitol Salem Oregon 1859 1959 and the reverse text is Oregon 100th Anniversary Celebration, Frontier of the Future Centennial 1859 1959. The front side of the coin shows a building in the center identified as the State Capitol with text arching above and below as it surrounds the coin’s design.
