This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-732

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads I.M.H. de Young Proprietor, Meriden Brit’a Co Souvenir of the 25th Anniversary of the San Francisco Chronicle and the reverse text is 1890 Inauguration of the New San Francisco Chronicle Building. The front side of the coin shows a bust of de Young facing the left side of the token with text surrounding him, a circular border appears outside of his bust and text is within the circular border and the edge of the coin. The backside of the coin depicts a building in the center that breaks into the wide outer border of the coin with a date below and text surrounding.
