The reverse text is South Carolina Interstate and West Indian Exposition 1901-1902 Charleston S.C.. The front side of the coin shows a female figure in the center with angel wings spread, a globe to the bottom, a train coming in from the left side of the coin, along with a boat and a lighthouse in the background. The backside of the coin depicts half of a wreath made up of leaves, wheat, corn and buds with a ribbon attached, and text to the left.
