The Ship and Whigs of N. York Hard Times Token can be found in several different varieties. There are four versions of this token that all vary based on planchet damage and overstrikes. This coin is rather common, accept as a HT-14C. This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-14.
The obverse text reads “For the Constitution Hurra!” and the reverse text reads “Flourish Commerce, Flourish Industry. Whigs of N. York Victorious Les Trots Jours, April 8.9.10, 1834.”
