The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads American Airlines AA First Jet Service Across the U.S.A. January 1959 and the reverse text is A New Era Begins 707 Jet Flagship. The front side of the coin shows the American Airlines logo in the center with the eagle showing spread wings and arching text above and below, two lines of text underneath the logo. The backside of the coin depicts a jet plane in the center facing the right side of the dollar with arching text on the top and bottom borders.
