This Token Came From – Dawson, New Mexico

The obverse text on the token reads “Southwestern Mercantile Company Dawson, New Mexico.” The reverse text on this token reads “Good For 25 July 1899 In Merchandise.” The obverse depicts a two toned field with text at the top and bottom and a nice beaded border. The reverse of the token shows a beaded field with a wreath in the center and text above and below.
