The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads The World’s Colvmdian Exposition Chicago 1893 and the reverse text is Statue of Liberty New York Height 298 Ft. The front side of the coin shows an open wreath surrounding the bust of Columbus in the center, facing the left, with text and a beaded border surrounding the image. The backside of the coin depicts the Statue of Liberty and the Island she sits on in the center of the coin with a beaded border and text above and below.
