This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-529

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Alaska, Jan. 3, 1959, 49th State and the reverse text is Hawaii 50th State, Aug 21, 1959. The front side of the coin shows text and 13 stars surrounding a circle that holds the shape of Alaska in the center with a star to the left and the 49th state below. The backside of the coin depicts text surrounding the entire design with an outline of the state of Hawaii in the lower center, city names written over each state with a large star to the left and 13 stars to the right.
