The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Trenton battle Monument corner stone laid Dec. 26 1892 Dedicated Oct 19 1893 and the reverse text is To commemorate the Battle of Trenton, NJ December 26 1776, Bechtel Trenton. The front side of the coin shows a very small design of a monument with empty fields in the center with circular text surrounding in a single line above. The backside of the coin depicts text surrounding the naked bust of George Washington in the center and facing the left with the date below.
