This So-Called Dollar is given the catalog number HK-95

The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads The centennial year of our National Independence 1876 and the reverse text is Battle of Sullivan’s Island June 28 1776 2 So. Carolina. The front side of the coin shows a bust of George Washington’s head in the center surrounded by 34 small stars and descriptive text. The date is below Washington’s neck. The backside of the coin depicts a star in the center with rays coming out of it and the date held within. There is a leafy wreath wrapping around the location of the battle and a Reeded edge.
