The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Headquarters June 19 1890, 112th anniversary of the evacuation of Valley Forge and the reverse text is Souvenir. The front side of the coin shows a house in the center of the dollar with two lines of arching text above and two lines of text below making up the date. The backside of the coin depicts a wreath with small scrolls within and a single line of text stars surrounding.
