Information and History of $1 2007 Desegregation Silver Coin

Value of 2007 $1 Desegregation Silver Commemorative

The 2007 $1 Silver Desegregation Commemorative Coin was made to show the process of desegregation in the United States. It does this by showing, on the obverse, a little girl’s feet being escorted to school by the United States Army. One the reverse is an image of Little Rock Central High School, the location of the first black student in a white classroom. This coin helps celebrate 50 years. This coin was minted at the Philadelphia Mint.
Obverse: Liberty – Desegregation in Education – 2007 – In God We Trust | Reverse: One Dollar – E Pluribus Unum – United States of America – Little Rock Central High School
