The 2008 $25 Half Ounce Buffalo Gold Coin is a beautiful coin with a great design. This was the only year that the U.S. Mint produced four different denominations of the Buffalo series, making these coins a bit harder to come by.
The text on the obverse of the one ounce Buffalo coin reads “Liberty” and the reverse text reads “United States of America; E Pluribus Unum; In God We Trust; 1/2 Oz .9999 Fine Gold $25.”
