Value of 2011-P $1 Wampanoag Treaty Native American Dollar Coin

In keeping with the trend of the previous 11 years, the 2011 Wampanoag Treaty Native American Dollar features Sacagawea on the obverse. The reverse shows two hands passing a pipe. This illustration represents the alliance that was built with the settlers at Plymouth Bay in 1621. The hands are those of Supreme Sachem Ousamequin Massasoit and Governor John Carver. The Peace Pipe that they are offering is symbolic of the first treaty reached between the Wampanoag nation and the European settlers.
