Design pat. Apr. 16, 1901. M’F’D. Victor Colo 1901. The front side of the coin shows a mining village illustrated to the upper center of the coin with text below in 4 lines and additional hand stamped text in three lines below that, a serial number appears at the bottom of the medal. The backside of the coin depicts an all seeing eye in the upper center of the coin with a shield and banner below, decorative text surrounding the coin and arching text near the bottom center of the coin.
