The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Cyrus Hall McCormick the Inventor of the Reaper, The sun never sets on the McCormick 1831 and the reverse text is Souvenir of the World’s Columbian Exposition Chicago 1893, Like McCormick Machines This Medal Combines Extreme Lightness with Extreme Strength. The front side of the coin shows a small bust of Cyrus McCormick facing the left with lines of text surrounding him and the date at the bottom. The backside of the coin depicts a reaper in the center gathering grains, with two lines of text surrounding it and three total stars.
