The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads 1892 Liberty W.M and the reverse text is 1492 Dedicated to the American people in honor of the 400th Anniversary of the Discovery of America, United we stand divided we fall. The front side of the coin shows William Morgan’s original Morgan Dollar bust with the hat and flowers, surrounded by stars and the small date at the bottom. The backside of the coin depicts the image of the landing and discovery of the New World by Christopher Columbus, all surrounded by text.
