The obverse of the token reads, “L.W. Perrin Dry Goods Crockery & Carpets Kalamazoo” and the reverse of the token reads “Liberty, 1863.”The obverse shows seven lines of text that take up a majority of the field. The reverse depicts an Indian bust in the center with 13 stars surrounding and the date below.
