The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Semi Centennial Albany, Burgesses Corps and the reverse text is Oct. 8, 1833, Oct. 8, 1883, Semper Paratus, Tiffany & Co. The front side of the coin shows a city shield in the center of the coin, with a sailboat on top of the seal, text surrounding to the outside border and a banner below. The backside of the coin depicts two dates in the center of the medal with small decorative elements surrounding, a border separates the dates from the text on the outside border.
