This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-150.

The obverse text reads “Lafayette, A Friend to America & Freedom, Died May 20, 1834” and the reverse text reads “HM & EI Richards, Manufacturers of Jewelry Near the Union House Attleboro Mass.” The obverse of the token shows a statue of Lafayette, and the reverse has text surrounded by branches and leaves.
