This Token Came From – Alfred Willard Combs, Cutlery, and Jewelry Store
This token typically receives the Hard Times Designation of HT-171.
The obverse text reads “Alfred Willard 149 Washington St. Boston” and the reverse text reads “Importer of Jewelry Fancy Goods, Cutlery & C. Brushes, Perfumery, Combs & C By Wholesale or Retail.” The obverse of the token shows a fancy comb with a crown and several leaves coming from it, and the reverse shows the above text and four small embellishments.
