The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Hon. Carter H. Harrison and the reverse text is Mayor of Chicago Assassinated Oct. 28, 1893 in Memoriam. The front side of the coin shows a bust of the Honorable Carter H. Harrison facing the right, not a nude bust but a clothed bust, with a decorative border made out of small stars. The backside of the coin depicts a wreath in the center surrounding text and rays, with text surrounding the wreath and stars to the outer border.
