The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Kilenyi, Samuel Langhorne Clemens Mark Twain, Centennial 1835 1935 and the reverse text is Robbins Co. Attleboro. The front side of the coin shows the bust of Mark Twain, also known by his real name of Samuel Clemens, in the center facing the right side of the dollar with three lines of text below his bust and circular text surrounding. The backside of the coin depicts a makers mark at the bottom of the medal with no other design elements, making it a uniface medal.
