The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Oro Y Plata, The Greenduck Co Chicago, Fiftieth Anniversary of the Organization of the Territory of Montana May 26, 1864, Admitted into the Union Nov. 8 1889 and the reverse text is Great Jubilee at Bozeman, The College City Aug. 5-8 1914, Gold Discovered in Alder Gulch May 26, 1863 by WM Fairweather and Henry Edgar, Montana Day Aug 8 1914. The front side of the coin shows two miners in the center with a worker in the background tending to the grounds near a tree, mountains in the background and text surrounding the scene. The backside of the coin depicts the sun rising over the mountains with a river in the foreground, shovels and axes crossed towards the bottom and text circling the coin.
