The obverse text on this So-Called Dollar reads Astronautics Dedication July 12, 1958 and the reverse text is Convair, Div. of General Dynamics Corp.. The front side of the coin shows a rocket in the center of the coin pointing upwards with arching text in a single line above and below, a thick line separates the text from the edge. The backside of the coin depicts an eagle superimposed over a globe in the center, the eagle with its wings spread, text surrounding to the outer edge.
